Family-Friendly Resorts in Phu Quoc: Kids' Club, Pools & Babysitting Explained (2026)

Phu Quoc has more family resorts than any other beach destination in Vietnam, but “family-friendly” means very different things from one property to the next. Some run a free kids’ club from breakfast to dinner; others have a splash pool and nothing else. Very few publish a babysitting service you can actually book.

This guide lists what each resort offers for children — kids’ club, kids’ pool, babysitting and family rooms — based on the resorts’ own websites, checked in September 2026. Services change with the season, so reconfirm when you book.

The short version

Resorts on Long Beach (Bai Truong) — closest to the airport

Long Beach runs south from Duong Dong town. It’s the most convenient base: 10–20 minutes from the airport, the night market is nearby, and most resorts here are on the sand.

Resorts in the south — Bai Khem, An Thoi & Sunset Town

The southern tip is where the big-brand resorts and Sunset Town sit. It’s 20–30 minutes from the airport and close to the Hon Thom cable car.

Good to know: all three are private-pool-villa heavy, so families with toddlers should ask for a villa with a pool fence or a room without a private pool.

Quieter beaches, longer transfers (30–45 minutes from the airport). Bai Dai is the Vinpearl / VinWonders / Safari cluster; Ong Lang and Cua Can are the boutique stretch.

Good to know: VinWonders (9 am–7:30 pm) and Vinpearl Safari (9 am–4 pm) are 500 m from the Vinpearl resorts but 20 km from Duong Dong — plan a full day if you stay elsewhere.

What “babysitting on request” really means

When a resort says babysitting is available “on request”, it usually means one of three things:

A staff member from housekeeping or the kids’ club covers your room for a few hours. Fine for a sleeping baby; less ideal for an active toddler.
An outside agency the resort calls on your behalf. You rarely know who is coming until they arrive, and English is not guaranteed.
A daytime-only arrangement tied to kids’-club hours — which doesn’t help if dinner is at 7 pm.

Rates are almost never published.

What if your resort doesn’t offer babysitting?

Most Phu Quoc resorts allow outside babysitters — you register the sitter at reception like any visitor. Calibee sends English-speaking, background-checked babysitters to hotels, resorts and villas across the island, and confirms your resort’s access rules before the session.
