Which hotels in Ho Chi Minh City actually offer babysitting?

If you are travelling to Ho Chi Minh City with a young child and hoping your hotel can watch them for a few hours, there is something worth knowing before you book: very few hotels in the city publish a babysitting service at all.

We checked the official websites of 14 well-known hotels across District 1, District 3 and Thao Dien. Only four of them state on their own site that babysitting is available. Several more are tagged as offering babysitting on travel booking sites, but say nothing about it on their own pages — which usually means the front desk will try to arrange something for you, not that a formal service exists.

Here is what we found, and what to do if your hotel is not on the list.

Hotels that confirm babysitting on their own website

These four hotels publish babysitting on their official pages. Details were checked in September 2026 — always reconfirm with the hotel when you book, as services change.

Only Rex Hotel publishes a concrete booking rule (two hours’ notice). The others handle it case by case, which in practice means availability depends on whether staff can find someone that day.

Hotels listed as having babysitting on travel sites — but not on their own

These properties appear under the “babysitting” filter on Tripadvisor or Expedia, but their own websites make no mention of childcare:

Amenity tags on booking sites are often applied at chain level rather than by the individual property, so treat these as “worth asking about” rather than confirmed. Email the hotel before you arrive if childcare is important to your plans.

Hotels that do not publish any childcare service

Among the properties we checked, these publish no babysitting, childcare or kids club anywhere on their sites: Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel, Lotte Hotel Saigon, New World Saigon Hotel, Mai House Saigon and Villa Song Saigon. Some list a children’s pool or free cribs, but that is a facility, not supervision.

It is also worth noting that no hotel in this group operates a kids club. Unlike beach resorts in Phu Quoc, Da Nang or Nha Trang, city hotels in Ho Chi Minh City are built for business travellers, and supervised children’s programmes are rare.
